Welcome to The National School Photography Awards 2018/19 - a nationwide photography competition, where we’re on the search for Britain’s next top photographer!
We've been inundated with entries and we can't wait to go through all of them!! We want to say a massive thank you to all of you who registered your schools and encouraged students to enter the competition - the competition wouldn't be as successful without your support.
Shortlisting will take place in the next couple of weeks and those who have made it to the next stage will be notified by email.
The official judging with our professional photographers is set to take place over Easter, so winners will be announced during the new term.
Judging for the competition will commence after the closing date for entries on 1st March 2019.
Our panel will select 20 favourites per category from the entered photographs to create a shortlist ready for final judging.
Each contestant who has made it through to the final will be notified of their progress at this stage. The full panel will then review each finalists photograph before deciding the overall winners of each category.
We have an outstanding judging panel for the competition, which includes industry experts, professional photographers and Education leaders.
Paul Hill - Category Manager at Manfrotto
Daniel Baxby – Principal at Witchford Village College
Tony Hardacre – Photographer for The Times Education Supplement
John Robertson - Photographer for The Guardian & Manfrotto Ambassador
More information on each of our judges, as well as what they will be looking for in each entry from the contestants can be found here.
