Paul first found an interest in Photography while studying art at school experimenting with conventional and more unconventional still and moving image capture techniques.  Following this Paul has spent 20 years working in the Photographic industry with film, digital and mobile technology.  Paul is now Category Manager for supports at Manfrotto UK looking after the range of Photo and Video supports and accessories used by professionals and enthusiasts alike in all aspects of photography


Tony Hardacre
Times Education Supplement Photographer

Tony has been a photographer in the Northamptonshire area for over 25 years. Tony worked for the Chronicle and Echo as chief photographer for 11 years before moving onto form his own company TH Photography which specialises in Weddings and commercial work. Tony has won many major awards including UK Press Photographer of the Year, Nikon Photographer of the Year and many Johnston Press awards. Tony is always striving for that unique picture and is delighted to be on the judging panel for The National School Photography Awards.


Daniel Baxby

Daniel has been in teaching for 16 years, specialising in Business and Humanities. As principal at Witchford Village College, he is responsible for ensuring that all students have the opportunity to flourish and succeed in their future careers.

He is extremely honoured to be asked back to judge for a fourth year, and is looking forward to seeing the same high standards of work.


John Robertson
The Guardian Photographer

John has been a working photographer all his life. He worked his way up from local papers 'The Stratford-upon-Avon Herald', 'The Wellingborough News Echo' and 'The Northants Evening Telegraph' to become a regular contributor to The Guardian, The Telegraph and many other national and international newspapers since 1987.

Alongside the national papers he still works for, John also covers commercial, PR and corporate jobs along with videography, both commercial and news. From David Cameron to Angelina Jolie and Joan Collins, Johns lenses have captured people from all walks of life.
